Quick Exhaust
Quick exhaust valves, or QEV valves, are specifically designed to increase the cycle speed of a cylinder in a pneumatic system by providing a rapid purge of air or exhaust from the system. In turn, this rapid release of air results in an increase in the cylinder. The quick exhaust valves lower the back pressure to the cylinder, which allows a reduction in pressure to the inlet side to save valuable amounts of compressed air. In addition, the QEV valves allow the size of the directional valve to be reduced to benefit from the use of a smaller valve. Overall, quick exhaust valves are the ideal way to boost the speed of a pneumatic system.
